They're fresh off of the release of their fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto, and Coldplay continued their public appearance blitz at the 2011 MTV European Music Awards in Belfast on Sunday (November 6).
The Chris Martin fronted British alternative rock band offered up another powerful performance at the Odyssey Arena venue while opting to treat the crowd to "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall".
Along with their stage efforts, Coldplay is nominated for multiple trophies at the 2011 MTV EMAs including categories such as Best Live Act, Best Rock and Best UK & Ireland Act.
Hosted by Selena Gomez, the annual overseas fete also featured acts including Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Jessie J and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
